Hinckley Introduces Newest Chesapeake Bay Owners

     Annapolis, Md. -- Hinckley Yachts has introduced Gene and Dori Haley, along with first mate Amanda the dog, as the proud new owners of the Hinckley Sou’wester 42 sailboat UNA. 

     On Saturday, June 4th, Peter Howard, Senior Sales Director for Hinckley Yachts joined Gene, Dori and Amanda for a lovely Christening ceremony on Spa Creek.

     “Rest assured, Gene is an old salt from his time serving on the USS RAZORBACK (SS 394),” commented Howard. “So he and Dori had all their bases covered in regards to a wonderful, old fashioned christening ceremony.” Joining the party was a rousing pipe band so it’s safe to say a good time was had by all.

     Hinckley, a privately held company founded in 1928, is renowned for its premium sailboats and power boats. The company builds its boats in Trenton and Southwest Harbor, Maine, and operates eight service yards along the U.S. East Coast.
